Level: IntermediateRecorded In: 3ds Max 2011, Autodesk Composite 2011Files used: This movie shows how to render scenes in 3ds Max using the OpenEXR file format. In addition to being a High-Dynamic-Range (HDR) format, OpenEXR lets you render element passes that are stored within the file. You can then import the OpenEXR file in Autodesk Composite and access the specific channels. This first movie shows how to render multi-layered OpenEXR images in 3ds Max.
