The most basic way to achieve a nice looking / lit scene is to make use of a very basic technique called "Three-Point-Lighting". All you need is a: - "Key-Light" the most obvious light in your scene. - "Fill-Light" it helps you to eliminate extremely dark areas (shadows). - "Back-Light" helps to chisel out the object you want to show in your scene.
